Last day in the French countryside

Running behind on my posts and typing this in Boston. We are having so much fun it's hard to stop and type a post.

Our last night in Voiron...an amazing restaurant. 

Frog legs...my first time eating them. I loved them! 

Helen shared her very special and very delicious walnut wine with me on the last night. It had a taste that I can't describe, it was a special treat and a nice way to end this leg of the trip. We had a great time with family and friends!!!

Got to spend an hour in a huge cave system! It was very cool!

Helen's friend Gil took a day off work to drive us around and show us the sights. We had a great day hanging with him and Helen. 

Indian Forest Chartreuse

Got to hang out and spend the night with the Choudin family. First a dip in the pool then drinks. They treated us like family and made us a great meal! Next morning we were off to the ropes course! 

Maxim was my guide on the ropes course. He was fearless and fast! I had a blast and after 2 hours was beat. 

Cecil took us up in the mountains for a spectacular view.

Running behind...Nice, France

Wifi has been spotty in France. We've been very busy hanging out with my Brother in Laws (Ben) family and friends. Good times! These photos are from Nice, on the coast by Monaco. 

Florence

It's a great city but we felt like we were being slow roasted. We ventured out in the mornings, hung out in the AC from 2-6 then went back out again. We ate a ton of pasta and a lot of pizza. Saw a lot of really great art, architecture a d sculptures.
